Tennis is a sport for those who like fast racket and ball sports.
About the training
In tennis, players stand on either side of a net that is stretched across the court. With the help of each tennis racket, they take turns hitting a small ball over the net into the opponent’s half of the court. Anyone who cannot hit the ball back loses the point.
Target group for the activity
… has an intellectual disability or reduced mobility, but does not use a wheelchair.
If you use a wheelchair, you can play wheelchair tennis.
If the opponent does not manage to hit the ball back over the net, you get points.
A match is divided into game and set. The player who plays the best of three or five sets wins the match.
Tennis is played one on one (single) or two on two (double).
Tennis can be played either indoors or outdoors.
